What keeps us together, what can't I see?
This quixotic love we've strived hard to make.
We laugh while we bicker you and me,
My tears are't real, an artificial lake.
Your influence has always kept me sane,
You smile as I pace, i'm nervous.
What keeps us together? Some lock and chain?!
Is it love? Is it me? Ha! Lip service
You say I shouldn't question, we don't know
What keeps us a loveing and happy pair,
So I try hard not to ponder, although
It confuses me this love we share.
So i'll think about more important things
And try not to doubt what tomorrow brings. *
